FAQ

Is Ball VS Ball free to play?
Yes. The game is free inside Roblox, the servers hold up to 25 players each, and the shop runs on Coins you earn from wins and codes. We have not confirmed any Robux-exclusive purchases — in-game menus are the final word if that ever changes.
What is the once-per-match free pick?
Besides the three random balls offered each round, you can pick any ball directly from your collection once per match at no cost. It is the cleanest way to bring your best unlocked ball into every fight without paying each time.
What does joining the group give you?
The official description promises a free reward for joining the ATYS 3 group (over 2.5 million members). The reward itself is not officially itemized — check the in-game prompt for what it currently grants.
How many players are on one Ball VS Ball server?
Up to 25 players share a server, but matches themselves are 1v1 or 2v2 duels. You queue into an arena from the lobby rather than fighting all 25 at once.

How does Ball VS Ball work?

Ball VS Ball is a free auto-battle game on Roblox by the group ATYS 3, released August 12, 2026. Each round, you pick a ball — one of three random options, or your once-per-match free pick from your own collection. You line up a shot, the balls bounce around a square arena, and collisions deal damage. The last ball standing wins, and wins pay Coins you spend in the shop to unlock more balls.

That is the entire loop: pick, aim, watch, collect, unlock. What makes runs feel different is the ball you brought — there are 40+ balls, each with its own skill — and how you use the free pick. Our ball collection guide breaks down what that means for your unlocks.

Your first match, step by step

  1. Open Ball VS Ball from the official Roblox game page.
  2. Grab the codes first. Tap the gift icon in the top-left corner → Codes → redeem UPD1 through UPD6 for 600 Coins before your first match. Full walkthrough in our codes page.
  3. Join the group. The description promises a free reward for joining the ATYS 3 group — claim it before you queue.
  4. Read the three-ball offer. Each round shows three random balls. Your collection pick (once per match) is better saved for a moment the random offer is weak.
  5. Line up your aim. The pre-match view shows a dashed aim line — set your launch angle before the brawl starts.
  6. Let the auto-battle run. Balls bounce and collide on their own; damage comes from impacts and from ball skills.
  7. Collect and spend. Wins pay Coins; the shop unlocks new balls for the collection.

Pick, aim, watch: what each phase actually does

The pick (1 of 3 random). The random offer is the game’s main variability. Reading it fast is a skill: compare the offered balls’ skills against the mode you queued (1v1 plays differently from 2v2). If all three are weak for your situation, that is exactly what the free collection pick is for.

The aim. Positioning before the bounce determines early collisions. A clean first hit on an unprepared opponent snowballs — collisions compound as balls keep bouncing.

The auto-battle. After the launch, balls fight on their own — you are watching outcomes, not clicking. That makes pre-battle choices (ball + aim) the whole game, which is why the community treats this as a strategy game rather than a twitch one.

Modes: 1v1 and 2v2

The official description lists both 1v1 and 2v2 auto-battle PvP. Duos change the math — coordination before the match (who brings which ball, and what your aim plan is) matters more than raw ball power. The arena guide covers mode-by-mode tactics, including the mid-match reroll the community uses when a pick underperforms.

Servers hold up to 25 players, so lobbies stay busy even on off hours — the game has held a five-figure player count since launch.

Coins: earning and spending

  • Win battles — the primary source, per the game’s own description of the shop loop.
  • Redeem codes — six active codes, 100 Coins each (see the codes page).
  • Group reward — free, one-time, from the ATYS 3 group.

Spending is simple today: the shop unlocks balls. Exact unlock prices are not officially documented, so we will not quote numbers — check the shop in-game, and treat any price list you see elsewhere as a community report.
